Why is this so special though?

Cultivos unquestionable high quality follows each step we take. From now on, your favorite coffee comes in special capsules which are environmentally friendly and are Nespresso* compatible.

The new Cultivos coffee capsules are compostable. Through industrial composting, Cultivos capsules can be placed in special brown-coloured bins after use, and from there they will follow the process in which their organic material will be decomposed and converted into a new substance, rich in nutrients, both for the soil and for the ecosystem. The Cultivos Capsule are made of organic materials and are free of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). They are aluminum and Bisphenol-A free. They have an oxygen barrier, an innovative technology that protects its content. The lid is made of non-tearable paper that secures the content of the capsule and guarantees the rich cream in our daily coffee - while the body of the capsule is made of organic materials, sugarcane particularly.

The 3 coffee series available in capsules are the Cultivos Blend, the Decaffeinated and the Single Estate Yirgacheffe To-La. Costa Rica Corazon and Guatemala Entre Volcanes will soon be added to the Single Estate series. To enhance the value of the Cultivos Blend, Decaffeinated series and the Single Estate series, we have selected a biodegradable capsule that can be fully degraded and we maintain our top quality standards, the natural coffee processing steps and the coffee beans come from famous farms known for their quality and value, created without negatives consequences to third parties.
