Thorough Preparation for a Successful Opening

Preparing a hotel before its opening is crucial for its success and efficient operation.

At Upgreat Hospitality, our team has extensive experience in the pre-opening phase of several new units, ensuring that every aspect of preparation is completed accurately and on time for a successful launch.

Our key pre-opening services include:

1. Vendor Partnerships

We assess the quantity and quality of equipment and supplies needed, identify suitable vendors, and ensure timely delivery. We also organize inventory management to ensure everything is ready for launch.

2. Room Typology and Features

We assist you in defining the naming and unique characteristics of your rooms, tailored to your target clientele. We propose names that reflect your hotel’s identity, determine the ideal capacity for each room type, and enhance features to improve guest experience, thereby maximizing bookings and revenue.

3. Systems Setup & Testing

We ensure the correct setup and functionality of all systems before opening. This includes checking room and service listings across sales channels (OTAs, website, GDS) and the PMS, as well as testing technology and communication systems (WiFi, POS). All operational systems and automations are thoroughly tested.

4. Room Setup and Final Inspection

We ensure all rooms are fully furnished, equipped, and ready for use, including bedding, amenities, and technology. We also inspect common areas to ensure a seamless guest experience.

5. Soft Opening and Testing

We test all room functionalities under normal operating conditions to ensure an excellent guest experience. This involves checking furniture, appliances, utilities (electricity, hot water, pressure and flow), and sleep experience. We document observations and suggest improvements as needed to ensure readiness for the official opening.
