Originally built in the 1920s, Manna Sanatorium hosted patients who hoped to heal from the benefits of living within the idyllic arcadic woods.
To revive the property required redefining the same concepts of hospitality & wellness that served its first life cycle. The secluded location combined with the emblematic architecture of a lost era inspired us to translate this vision into an optimistic and respectful continuity of history.
The hotel’s functionality was extended to the footprint of an auxiliary structure, and the attic. Each of the 32 rooms is organised by a space timber grid.
