In Kaliviani, Chania, a restoration project has transformed three buildings into a harmonious ensemble surrounding a courtyard, where water takes center stage. The five bedrooms offer guests a unique and enriching experience.
The sense of simplicity, serenity, and rustic charm is accentuated by the carefully chosen materials, both in the construction and furnishings.
Travertine, cotto, natural mortars, polished concrete, perforated metal sheet, reeds, wood, linen, and glass are employed with meticulous attention to detail, respecting the sturdy frame of the existing structure, its rich history, and the natural patina of time.
