Cosme's architecture is inspired by the bright fishing villages of Paros, designed as a natural extension of Naoussa. Traditional construction techniques were used alongside local materials creating harmonious architectural compositions. Cosme is characterized by a new aesthetic philosophy by the name “The Aegean Touch,” which references the style and beauty of Paros and elegantly blends rare elements from around the Mediterranean with bold Cycladic lines. Furniture are custom-made, with classical references. The colours have been carefully curated to give a sense of safety, desire and luxury with intense warm shades, such as olive green, deep burgundy, red and blue along with the traditional white colour synonymous with Greece.
Cosme’s reception is the centerpiece of the hotel. A curated, scenographic space, where the collection of different pieces, meticulously combined, offer an eclectic aesthetic. The space is particularly luminous, thanks to natural sunlight streaming in through the two skylights, and is characterized by remarkable details and unique decorative items, coming from antique shops all around the Mediterranean and the world. The impressive marble floors refer to historical Cycladic buildings, such as the old classical buildings of Syros or the captains’ houses of Paros. Here, modern and traditional styles harmonically meet and create a fresh yet dominant design with a distinctive personality.
40 stunning suites envelope guests in a luxurious narrative of Paros, balancing the traditional textures and local stone with carefully curated decoration. Complete with terraces shaded by wicker pergolas, the suites offer indispensable relaxing views towards the surrounding scenery.
Upon entering from the beach, the visitor is greeted by a circular wall, made of Paros local stone, inviting guests to wander along, touch it and feel the local craftsmanship and richness of the material. Going up the stairs, one discovers the stunning half-moon shaped main pool. The pool’s half-moon shape seems like a natural shaped balcony over the beach. Mirroring the bay of Naoussa, it offers panoramic views towards the harbor town, the sea and the small fishing port, with the traditional fishing boats. Influenced by the proximity to the sea, the pool is designed as a visual continuity of the body of water. The overflowing element gives the illusion that the pool merges with the Aegean Sea, while at sunset time, the pool and the sea become one, creating a magical backdrop.
Next to the pool Parostià restaurant is located. During the day, life is buzzing under the stripped shadows produced by the straws of the pergola, and during the night, soft lights invite guests to relax and enjoy the Grecian way of life. Circe Bar is located right next to the action, adjacent to the pool and a few steps away from Parostià Restaurant. A beautiful lounge crowns the bar with sensational sunset views over the bay of Naoussa.
