Allure Retreat Villa is located in the town of Lefkada, overlooking the lagoon of the Lefkada Straits, one of the largest wetlands in the country, included in the NATURA 2000 network as a landscape of exceptional natural beauty. The study is about the design of the interior and exterior of a 220 sq. meter villa, the concrete structure of which was already built when the project was assigned to our studio.
It is a villa of 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms, a living and kitchen area, a gym area with hammam and a fairly large outdoor area with outdoor seating, barbeque, fireplace and swimming pool. On the ground floor of the residence, the living room, the kitchen and one bedroom are located. On the 1st floor there are 2 more bedrooms, while going up one level we find the attic with one more bedroom. On the basement the fifth bedroom of the residence is located, together with a gym area with a hammam and storage areas. All rooms have private bathrooms.
When our architecture studio was assigned this particular project, the concrete structure of the villa had been constructed. The design includes several interventions on the exterior of the villa, specifically towards the lagoon side, aiming to harmonize the construction with the morphology of the buildings of Lefkada. The choice of materials as well as the color palette of the building attempts to gently integrate the project into the environment, in an area of particular beauty.
