Thomais Boutique Hotel is located in the Episkopos of Lefkada and is housed in a building built 20 years ago with a typical architectural vocabulary of newly built structures in the Ionian Islands. It consists of 11 rooms, a reception and breakfast area, an a la carte restaurant and a specialized pool fitness center. It brings together the special features of a small boutique hotel certified by the current latest criteria.
The renovation that gave it all the relevant features for its certification as a boutique hotel, took place in two phases in the last three years. During the renovation works, all the common areas of the hotel were redesigned for their layout according to the modern functional requirements and infrastructure. An open lobby and breakfast area was created, giving an expanded space for the reception and the common activities of the customers.
An a la carte restaurant space was created on the top floor of the building as a roof garden restaurant, and all rooms were renovated with the uniqueness of a separate design concept for each of them, with the common aesthetic direction that unites them as a real collection of rooms.
The renovation works included all the necessary construction works to upgrade the networks and infrastructure and all the special individual constructions according to the architectural study. All the spaces and the applications in them were designed by the architectural office with extensive custom proposals from the tables of the breakfast area, the design of graphic applications (wallpapers, staff uniforms), custom lighting and all the furniture of the rooms and common areas in combined with individual branded objects of modern design.
The construction works were carried out by crews of the island with the supervision of the architectural office that supervised the project as a whole and the individual constructions by builders of the area, Thessaloniki and Athens, as the case may be.
