The building was designed as a single backbone volume, as if sculpted from one stone and comprised of one and two-storey units.
The floor materials of the ground floor and basement spaces are stone, cement mortars in an earthly, warm color and big othogonal thick tiles of various sizes and of the same earthly tone. The rooms' floor on the first floor is in wood.
The surface of the interior walls was treated with a special paste on burlap, in the same tone as the floors. The result was a calm, monochromatic environment with different textures, embracing wooden continuous structures in oak and painted sand-blusted pine planks, instead of separate single pieces of furniture. The linen curtains in the color of the sand are hand-crafted. Different fabrics of the same style were used in each suite. To be consistent with the mood and atmosphere of the spaces, the lighting fixtures were selected for their natural and loose style and are made from wood, bamboo, paper, glass, metal and gypsum.
Each space was decorated with special objects from natural materials and with old antiques.
The wooden ceilings, visible from the interior of the suites, are covered with old tiles. In each suite of the first floor, there is an opening and shaded skylight, directlly over the bed.
The pools, private and communal, are covered with pebbled cement mortars.
The railings and pergolas are made from steel. The pergolas are covered with wicker panels.
The result of a harmonious collaboration with the project's owners throughout the entire process, including the design, construction and decoration, was the creation both -indoors and outdoors- of a hand-crafted, bright, calm, natural and comfortable environment, that relates to the sea and connects to nature.
