Light, shadows, simplicity, modesty, authenticity. Words synonymous with who Vangelis Paterakis is. His work, though large, is exact, faithful to geometry and the light.
  
Vangelis Paterakis was born in Piraeus. From the moment he discovered the power of photography he has followed it faithfully. He is a dreamer, and it is very easy for him to distinguish something that for some others might be invisible: a new point of view, the lighting in an image. With his camera he captures the moment, the feeling, the dreamy reality.  International photographer based in Greece, he has covered the market of architectural, design, hotel and food photography.  

His main clients are hotel brands such as Hilton, Aman Resort, Sofitel, Radisson Blu, Grecotel, as well as successful architects.  

His work has been published by well-known publishers, as you can find it in international magazines such as Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Andrew Martin – Interior Design Review, Taschen, J.J. Magazine, Yatzer.  

Α restless spirit, constantly in an artistic pursuit, he did not hesitate to find yet another creative path to express himself. His trips to Cuba and Japan became sources of inspiration and cause for his first individual painting exhibition, titled “Virtual World”. Similarly, his famous moving figures in his photoshoots, led him to his first individual photograph exhibition, “Shadows” and then the second part of it, “Shadow Life”. An image from “Shadows” was chosen by the National Theatre of London for a play by Caryl Churchill in 2015, “Here We Go”.  He has also participated in various group exhibitions with other artists and photographers. 

His artistry continues through photography, an occupation that will never stop being a crucial part of his life.
  
Professionally, architectural photography is what expresses him most. Personally, it satisfies him to depict emotions with his camera, wherever he may encounter them. 

Kostas Poulopoulos (1978) studied architecture at the National Polytechnic School of Athens (2004) and the University of Tokyo with a full MEXT Scholarship (2009).

 

He went on to work at several international studios (Henning Larsen, BIG , Kengo Kuma) at positions of responsibility. Particularly as Lead Design Architect heading the International Competitions Group at Henning Larsen, he designed and developed significant built work (Siemens HQ, Munich, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Nordea HQ Copenhagen, Novo Nordisk HQ, Copenhagen).

 

In 2015, Kostas founded SquareOne Architects, Copenhagen in 2015, out of a true desire to design authentic, sustainable and delightful architecture. Since then, the office has been developing award winning architecture at international level, particularly within commercial, residential and hospitality sectors, with a special love for transformation and renovation projects.

 

At SquareOne studio, Kostas is leading an agile team of design professionals in tackling those often very diverse types of assignments with artistic integrity, enthusiasm and an acute sense of responsibility towards
clients, collaborators and the broader society.

Phivos was born in London in 1982. He studied architecture at the Architectural Association(2000-2006) and was awarded the AA Prize in 2004. In the following years, he worked at Zaha Hadid Architects undertaking projects such as The Opus in Dubai, Eleftheria Square in Nicosia, Cyprus, etc. (2006-2008). In 2008 he joined CSKR Architects and Associates and in 2010 he entered Skroumbelos C + PH Architects and Associates as a partner.
His design portfolio comprises museums, theatres, housing complexes, urban development projects, hotels, office buildings etc. Some of his major works include the New Archaeological Museum in Chalkida, the New Archaeological Museum in Heraklion Crete, the New Theatre in Larissa and more recently, the multiply-awarded Olivar Suites in Corfu and the One&Only Aesthesis in Glyfada.

Konstantinos Labrinopoulos graduated  the School of Αrchitecture, National Technical University of Athens 

and he continued his studies in the United States where he received his Master III degree in Advanced Architectural Design from SCI-Arc, Los Angeles.

In 2001 he founded KLAB architecture.

In 2008 Wallpaper magazine has included KLab as one of the most upcoming architecture practices in the world. He has given lectures and taught in workshops in Europe and in Israel and his work has participated in many architecture exhibitions in Greece and abroad as the Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2012 with the work “urban cubes”.

 

Konstantinos Labrinopoulos, KLAB’s principal, was a visiting professor at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, a visiting critic at the Hochschule fur Technik Stuttgart Architecture School and Berkeley CA Architecture School an adjunct professor  at the Architecture School of the University of Patras and NTUA where is currently teaching.

 

His work has been shortlisted for several awards as Mies Van Der Rohe award 2 times and Piranesi award among others.

 In 2012 KLab architecture won the prestigious award best commercial project 2011 for  Placebo pharmacy at X International Awards. 

In Greece Klab have won many distinctions and awards at the Greek Architectural Awards.

 

KLAB architecture work has been published widely in architectural magazines and books internationally.

She was born in Thessaloniki, and graduated from the NTU Athens as an Architectural Engineer.
In 2000 she founded in Rhodes her own firm, “Vana Pernari Architecture Studio.” Her diverse portfolio includes private and country residences, but she focuses on conceptual accommodation projects, such as luxury hotels, boutique hotels, and resorts.

Her holistic approach is a main characteristic of her work. From the initial design to the implementation and completion, every project reflects her drive to create an amalgamation of the location, its surroundings, and an essence of hospitality authenticity. The palette she creates incorporates everything that can turn a stay into an unforgettable experience.

Kalia Konstantinidou was born and raised in Athens and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping from University of Wales, Cardiff and a Master’s Degree in PR & Communication, from European University, Switzerland. She is a passionate leader in hospitality, managing luxury boutique hotels on the Greek islands and the Peloponnese, currently holding the position of Co-Founder and Group Executive Officer of Empiria Group. Kalia’s expertise is best showcased through the company’s multi-awarded hotels in Santorini and Paros, which operate under the emblematic brands of Marriott International, while she co-chairs Marriott International’s Franchise Advisory Council. She is a Board Member at Enterprise Greece, and at the Cycladic Identity Initiative of the Cycladic Museum and she sits in Marketing Greece's Strategic Committee. Throughout her extensive 25-year career in the tourism industry, she has dedicated herself to elevating Greece's hotel sector, infusing it with her wealth of expertise and unwavering dedication.

Nikos S. Morantis is a specialist in strategic hotel product development and the founder of Destsetters. With extensive experience in the hospitality sector, he focuses on creating innovative and tailored hotel concepts that meet market needs.
